The faculty of the Department of Economics are extremely active in research, having published over sixty books and monographs, and well over three hundred articles in refereed journals. Members of the department also consult with international organizations, private corporations, ministries of provincial governments and those of the federal government, as well as presenting the results of their work at professional conferences and other universities.
