Economics Academic Plans

 

Admission into Economics Plans

To apply for admission into Economics Plans, students must be in good academic standing and have successfully completed at least (ten 0.5 courses) including two ECON courses. The minimum cumulative ECON grade average required for admission is 75% for Honours Economics (Regular or Co-operative), 68% for Four-Year General Economics, and 65% for Three-Year General Economics (including Minor Studies).

For UW Arts Students

If you have an interest in studying Economics and have the required grade average, please complete a Plan Modification form. You can download the Plan Modification Form from the Registrar web page.  Please submit your Plan Modification form, along with a copy of your transcript (printed from Quest) and send it to the attention of the Economics Undergraduate Program Assistant in HH 214.  For academic advise in Economics, you are welcome to see the Economics Advisor in HH 213.

For UW Non Arts Students
Please apply for an Internal Transfer into the Faculty or Arts.  You can make an appointment with an academic advisor in the Arts Undergraduate Office located in PAS 2439.
